Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
6 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

No Block Scheduling.

Guaranteed Hours 36

Shift: Weekend and Weekdays - Day and night; Every other weekend and holiday. Possibility of on call.

May float to OB and Med Surg in course of shift

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 25

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: For Med/Surg - typically 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity

General job duties/Types of procedures required: Critical Care Nursing, OB Nursing (preferred), ER

Required skills and minimum years of experience: Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients.

6 months MS experience in the past year

Dress Code: Sanford Dress Code. Navy Scrubs, no logos, white can be worn under uniform or white lab coat.
