Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required skills and experience: Work Settings, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, IV vasopressors, Shock/Trauma, Gunshot wounds, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Neurological, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma, Pediatrics, Spinal cord injury, Respiratory, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Triage

• IV therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs); IV vasopressors

• CPAP/BiPAP; Ventilator management

• CVA (stroke), neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI

• Cardiac monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias)

• Emergency care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma)

• Isolation precautions; Triage; Pediatric spinal cord injury

Preferred skills and experience: STEMI Certified Facility, Stroke Certified Facility, Arterial line management, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Traumatic amputation

Required credentials: Drivers License/State ID. Government Issued Photo ID required.

Shift & schedule requirements: Day/Night rotation 7a-7p/7p-7a. Weekend Requirement: Every Other. Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed.
