Requirements

Experience

9 months of acute care experience within the past 12 months.

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

Patient Experience requirements: Minimum 1 year level III experience

Requested Skill Set: surgical patients, cardiac patients, experience with pts <27 weeks, care of trach infants, experience with broviacs

Must have: Experience with preemies (at least 28 week and above), mgmt. of central lines, respiratory mgmt. up to and including intubated patients,

Shift & Scheduling:

Rotating weekends, holidays

Floating Requirements:

Contract staff float before staff. Areas include: PICU, Pediatrics, CICU.
