Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Shift & Scheduling:Upcoming Start Dates: 9/2, 9/15, 9/29, Must be willing to work 8x5 and 4x10 as needed. Weekend Hours: on call, Call Requirements: 1 day per week and every 3rd weekend.

Equipment Use in Unit: Standard OR Equipment plus a DaVinci Xi Robot

Patient Population: All except children under 1 year

Skills Required: Circulating and Operating Room

Skills Preferred: Scrubbing in on surgical cases

Common Diagnoses: Abdominal, GYN, Laparoscopic, fractures, total joints, bladder, prostate, cataracts, etc.
