Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

BLS (Required)

IV Therapy Certification (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

NIHSS (Preferred)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Dialysis, CBI.

Gastric decompression, Wound Care.

Equipment Used on Unit: Welch Allyn Vital sign, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, Teleneuro

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds - 34

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: 4 shifts per schedule
