Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license
Certifications
BLS (Required)
Vaccinations
COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have strong ortho experience; Must have Total Joint Replacement experience and not just fractures.
Required Credentials:
- If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
- References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts/schedule and travelers are expected to work into the holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: Possibly to 7E, 7W, 10W, 10E.
