Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of L&D experience and some postpartum experience
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer somone who has worked in a similar size L&D and PP/MB dept
Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System
Unit/Facility Details: Ratios - 1/1 for Intra, 1/1-3 for Antepartum ,1/3-4 for PP/MB
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend, Nights- Fri & Sat
Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation
On call or standby requirements: May be called off, if needed.
Floating Requirements: L&D and PP/MB are primary units. Can be floated throughout the hospital for sitter shifts when necessary. Travelers are typically the first to float for sitter shifts.
