Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 36 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

ACLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Information

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Background in observation units, or step-down MS/Tele units.

Ability to read and interpret strips is required

Required Credentials: Will have to take an EKG exam during compliance

Unit/Facility Details: 8 bed unit- 2 RNs on each shift

Observation unit. Anemia, Cellulitis, COPD, CHF, Dehydration, pre -op, Urology and GI, Drips (Drips include, but not limited to: Cardiac Cardizem, Nitro ,Insulin, Heparin)

Average stay up to 48 hrs. High amount of admissions and discharges

Special Requests: Can submit with a block scheduling request - The facility will always try and honor, but never guarantee.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
