Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

PCU - Advance Cardiac Care

Required Skills/Experience: Must have Post OP or Vascular background experience

Must have prior CV critical care experience

Stepdown experience

Telemetry experience

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, and fem-pop bypass) within a year

CVICU experience

Shift & Scheduling: No call.

Weekend requirements minimum – 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6 week schedule period.

Flexible to work Holiday

Floating Requirements: Float to Any SD (1:5 ratios) or MS (1:6-7 ratios) unit, ER inpatient holding area (1:6).
