Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

BSN completion preferred

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available) Day shift: Mon.-Fri. 0630a-3p (for 8hrs), 0630-5p (10hrs) Shift could start at 0530 on occasion - start time depends on if we have hearts or not On Call - On a 6-week schedule, RNs on cardiac cover about 10-12 call shifts. Call - 1-2 weekends and 1-2 days a week in a 6-week period

Unit Details: Around 6 hearts per week

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG, TAVRs, Windows, VATs & Open, General Surg. Our Cardiac nurses circulate general procedures when needed.

Preferred Credentials: SGNA Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Completion of OR internship program Training Successful completion of Periop 101
