Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept first time travelers who have solid ICU experience in a large facility/academic center. Skills: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory/Thoracic, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Genitourinary/Renal, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, CVVHD/CRRT, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Neurological, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Cardiovascular.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience. Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring.

Required Credentials: ABLS. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID.

Special Requests: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission – no exceptions.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend & 50% holidays.

Floating Requirements: Primary: Adult ICU Cluster.
