Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience Minimum Experience: 2 years in ICU

Med/Surg experience

Required Skillset: ICU and MedSurg competant

Unit/Facility Details: The case mix is medical and surgical patients such as joint replacements and general surgical patients. They have 11 beds for covid patients. These are on one end of the unit with the rest of the patients in the other rooms.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed, if on nights it is Fri/Sat if scheduled days it is Sat/Sun, holiday rotation

On Call/Call Back Requirements: No requirements for additional on-call or back-up. Additional shifts MAY be available to pick up for sick calls, etc.

Observed Holidays: New Year’s Day-Memorial Day-Independence Day-Labor Day-Thanksgiving-Christmas Day

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Riverview
