Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

2 years of experience in General MRI and some Neuro imaging.

Neuro Skills Req: Brain, Face/soft tissue neck, Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Spine.

Previous Charge, Teaching Hospital and Community Hospital Experience: Preferred.

Modules are completed pre-start and potentially during orientation, and can vary by specialty.

Return Staff Policy: If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
