Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Preferred 12 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Will accept a first-time traveler. Minimum of 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU with EPIC or Cerner experience. If strictly ICU experience, Cerner is required.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Parking deck only 2nd through 4th levels

Special Requests: No RTO will be approved during the following dates: Christmas / New Year’s: 12/21 - 1/1

Shift & Scheduling:

Schedule cycle: 4 week cycle period; no self scheduling – utilize smart square
Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month
On call? If so, what is that schedule? No
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy

Floating Requirements: Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)
