Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required from the last 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Special Requests: No block scheduling requests. Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions. Drip titration skills (Diltiazem, Nitro, Heparin), These are top 3, others are titrated on the unit. Basic rhythm recognition

Preferred Skills/Experience: Flexible with shifts

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Lab draws, EKG, bladder scanning, bedside thoracentesis/paracentesis, blood product administration, straight cath, Foley insertion, removal and care including CBI, Central line care and removal, BiPap and High Flow O2.

Floating Requirements: Floating Area: Med/Surg Telemetry.

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.
