Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Shift & Scheduling: 4x12 or 3x12s, Will work every third weekend, No On-Call Required

Unit Details: 38 bed unit

Floating Requirements: Will float to other Med Surg departments as needed

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience preferred. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy, PICC Line Management, Starting IVs.

Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Orthopedic Elective Surgeries Such As Total Joint Replacement Hips, Knees, Shoulders, Spine Surgeries, Trauma Patients Needing Many Orthopedic Surgical Interventions, Osteomyelitis And Other Infections Involving Skin And Bone Needing Long Term Iv Antibiotics, Traction, Bedside Debridement, Complex Dressing Changes

Equipment Used on Unit: Slings, Walkers, Canes, Traction, Casts, Iv Pumps, Tube Feeding Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Hospital Beds, PAS Boot Machines, Vital Sign Monitors, Vein Finder

Previous Employment Requirements:
