Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Nevada license

PALS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Not sure about exact days but will be during the work week of Monday-Friday.

Call is required. Approximately 12 call shifts per month.

CVOR experience required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

BSN - Highly desired

CVOR Experience - Required: 2 Years

The concepts of patient centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates service excellence at all times.

Typical surgeries include cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, Valve replacement, Carotid Endartectomy, Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair, etc are seen in the CVOR.

Would consider an OR nurse with 1 year experience both scrubbing and circulating."
