Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience. Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma experience both RN. Vascular surgery exp, RN and Tech. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: X-lif, A-lif, Decompression, ACDF, Craniotomy, Robotic surgery (thoracic, general, gyn and urology), Ortho Trauma, total joints (Mako Robot), general open and laparoscopic surgery. CV- CABG, valves, surgies of the Aorta (to include traumas), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases.
Equipment Used on Unit: Varied OR equipment to include Microscopes, Robot Divincii Xi, Mako Robot, Laparoscopic Stryker tower, Stealth, endovascular Hybrid room equipment.
Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds – 11 operating rooms. Willing to be flexible when it comes be in different types of rooms with different cases. Can work with the staff and adapt to the way we work in our departments, with the understanding that all places are not the same. Could be willing to help pick up extra hours if we need it. (not a deal breaker). Willing to occasionally assist in the perception of new grad techs or RN’s.
Shift & Scheduling: Tues-Fri. Call Requirements: Yes. Weekends: possibly, based on need. Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.
