Required Skills/Experience: Patient Experience requirements: We have a heavy cardiac patient population, and the CV surgery patients come to PCU when they leave our ICU. We perform Q6H head-to-toe assessments and chart each one fully. We do the usual PCU gtts – Dopamine, Dobutrex, Nitro, Heparin, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, Cardene, Labetolol, Insulin, and we also titrate Precedex. Cardiac/telemetry experience, and PCU and/or critical care experience. Advanced skills needed: IV insertion, chest tube management, DHT insertion/management, tracheostomy experience, CVC management, EKG, Foley management, early patient mobility.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility. Self-scheduling (within reason to allow balanced staffing). May request days off as needed prior to schedule closing. Schedule will be finalized 2 weeks in advance.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

Floating Requirements: Travel RNs float first. We rotate floating, and the oldest float date will float first.
