Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 22 months of Case Management experience.
Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

• Admission Criteria, Benefits Eligibility, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Needs Assessment/ Order DME, Plan of Care, Prior Authorizations, CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups), HIPAA guidelines (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), OSHA: Occupational Safety and Health Administration, The Joint Commission/ Core Measure/National Safety Goals, Extra checklist required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Teaching Hospital Experience

• Community Hospital Experience

• LTAC Experience

• Ambulatory, Behavioral Health, Home Health, Hospice, Insurance Company, Data Abstraction, Determine Medical Necessity per Evidence-Based Guidelines, Disability case management, Disease management, Utilize InterQual Criteria, Worker’s comp case management, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, Pediatrics, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding and billing, Department of Health, ICD 10 Coding, NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance), Worker’s Compensation.

Required Credentials: BLS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.

Unit/Facility Details:

• First timers are accepted if screened and meet experience requirements.

• Parking Cost: Free Parking

• All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Can include Charge RNs / Leads.

• Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling:

• No call requirements.

• Weekend Coverage: Every Other

• Pre-Approved Time Off: One Request

Floating Requirements: All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
