Schedule: Days Variable starts
Experience:
-Minimum 5 years experience in Pediatric or NICU unit.
-Pediatric critical care background or peds ED background.
-Minimum 2 years experience as charge and/or triage in peds/NICU.
Preferred knowledge of EMTALA regulations.
Preferred prior experience in transfer center and/or prior transport experience.
Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities.
Certifications: Triage
The Access Center nurse is responsible/accountable for coordinating optimal, safe, effective and timely urent and emergent transports of critically ill infants, children, and high-risk OB patients.
Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
Float Policy: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications. Please ensure this is discussion at time of submission, and time of offer.
Travel Pairs: Travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit.
