Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience:

• Will accept a first time traveler only with 2+ years of experience.

• Vent management, IV Starts, chest tubes, IV med titration, experience with Neonatal Resuscitation is preferred (CN will attend deliveries)

Unit/Facility Details:

• Will consider 36 or 48 hour contracts.

• Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: no weekend rotation, traveler may work mostly weekends

• On Call: only if placed on call for Low Census

• Holiday Expectations: Yes, 2/4 major holidays

Floating Requirements: PICU, Pediatrics, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, Adult (Constant Observation Only) - (overflow on peds unit)
