Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Psychiatric Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: 2+ years of current Adult BH/Psych experience in a hospital setting

Experience with all age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geri

Required Credentials: Acceptable de-escalation certificates: MAB, CPI, MOAB, SAMA - can obtain during onboarding if inactive

Shift & Scheduling: No Call

Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Holiday Rotation

Limit of 1 day request off between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked

Floating Requirements: Floating may be needed during the contract to other BH Units
