Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from last 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Proficient circulating experience

Must be proficiently experienced in the following cases: Gen, Robotics, Pediatrics and Trauma (additional experience in following service lines -- (Neuro, ortho (primarily trauma), gyn, uro, transplants, plastics, ENT, Vascular)

Preferred Skills/Experience: scrub experience

Shift & Scheduling: Mon - Fri with rotating day off

Weekend Requirements: Call schedule; Fri 5p through Mon 6:30a

On Call Requirements: Up to 1 overnight/week and 3 weekends per 13 week contract

Floating Requirements: Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist
