Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required. No block scheduling. Sterile Processing Tech only: Must have experience at a similar sized hospital (minimum 400 bed size) Surgical Technologist only: Must have Level 1 experience or comparable Level 2 experience (in a larger city/large bed size)

Types of patients in the unit: Please note this is a pediatric psych facility. Traveler must be aware and willing to work with a pediatric patient population.

Shift & Scheduling: 2 available shifts - 1st Shift (7a-330p), 2nd Shift (3p-1130p).

Required Skills/Experience: Must have pediatric experience.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments performed on the unit: Counselor II at Hampstead establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned patients and facilitates maintaining the therapeutic environment in the Psychiatric Unit. The Counselor provides progressively basic-to-complex patient care services, increasing independence with experience and skill.
