Maine Medical Center requires all candidates to have at least 1 year of Facility Trauma Level 1 experience to be considered.
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Years of Experience: 1-2 minimum
Float Requirements: yes – IMC RN’s may float to another IMC level of care unit within MMC. IMC RN’s will float to med/surg as needed. Med/surg RN’s may float to another med/surg unit with similar level of care. Floating is based on unit need and skill as well as the needs of nursing units.
Education Modules (will this be consistent for all similar skillset on unit or specific to this Position Request): MMC mandatory onboarding education
Must Have Skills/Experience: IMC RN’s must have Vent experience. All RN’s must have experience with tracheostomy’s and ready/interpreting telemetry strips
Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory, Medical Telemetry, some surgical, sepsis, DKA, Altered Mental Status, Failure to Thrive, Respiratory Failure, and most any acute on chronic medical condition.
Dress Code: Any unacceptable attire: unprofessional clothing, shirts with logos other than hospital related.
