Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.
ADN completion required
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a New Mexico license or compact license

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years current experience required in Cardiothoracic surgery.
- Must be able to scrub.
Required Credentials:
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
- BLS (and ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Unit/Facility Details: Will train Epic on-site.
Special Requests:
- Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
- Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
Shift & Scheduling: Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Weekends (Fri-Sun; 0630-1900)/On call, and holidays may be required (per staff rotation).
Floating Requirements: Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
