Travel Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Clinic

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Work Settings/Clinic Specialties: Family Care clinic, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care Required

Assessment: Interpretation of laboratory results, Medication reconciliation, Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies, Vital Signs (Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse) Required

Set Up and Assist with Procedures: Dressing Change, Set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays Required

Specimen Collection: Capillary, Labeling of specimens, Throat, Urine (UA/Clean Catch), Venipuncture/Phlebotomy Required

Office Duties: Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Telephone Triage Required

Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred

Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Please note: all candidates must be made aware of the urgency of the ohio fingerprinting process. Candidate must complete fingerprints as soon as they sign contract. Travelers who are unresponsive or uncooperative with credentialing are at risk of push/cancel.

RTO required with submission, must be built into contract

Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more

Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location
