Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license

Required Skills: Continuous IV sedation Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias

Preferred Skills/Experience: Years of experience REQ: Preferred 2 yrs, will take 1.5 years experience from a like hospital

Preferred Skills: ICP monitoring* Triage* Ventilated patients* PA Lines*

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Unit/Facility Details: Daily Census: 120

Number of Visits Per Day: 260

Number of Rooms: 65

Both sites have a locked psych unit staffed by PES RN & MHW

We will still sub 1.5 Yrs if Level I or travel exp

Travelers don't get trauma/rescue rooms and don't get triage or locked behavioral health units

Floating Requirements: Assigned to one campus, with possibility of rotating to other campuses
