Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call is not required.

Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.

May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period.

Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of IMC/Stepdown experience required. Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management.

Medical/Neuro ICU experience preferred.

The intermediate care unit comprises of 18 beds and focuses on individuals who are experiencing severe, but usually non-life threatening issues requiring moderately complex assessments, moderately intensive therapies and interventions, and moderate levels of nursing vigilance. These patients encompass all types of general medical disease processes including post ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory.
