Special requirements: With delivery attendance experience and neonatal intubation. We have only a 4 bed ICU and we do not have a NICU or PICU. We do get peds pts in our ED (thus the PALS requirement) and we attend 75% of the deliveries (ends up at maybe a couple per day) and are considered the front line for infant intubation in our Birth Center, should the need arise thus the NRP requirement. The volume of neonatal intubations is <10/year so infrequent but still an expectation of the role.

RTO must be listed at time of submission.
RTO - 6 days total or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved. Anything more, traveler will sign contract with pending RTO. *Anything more than 6 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
Background Policy to be noted prior to submission – Any hits we have to send for approval
Return Staff Policy - 3 months between perm and travel

BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
