Please note that should you receive an offer for this position, you will have 48 hours to accept/decline.
Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.
Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).
Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.
Required to have IR PACU experience with phase 1 recovery and ICU experience.
Call is not required yet, but it will be required in the near future.
Shift varies according to the needs of the unit: 3 – 12 hour shifts per week (times vary according to the needs of the unit with potential start times of 0600, 0700, and 0800.
Will not approve July 4 RTO.
Orientation Hours: 36
Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
Daily Census: 50
Will be expected to pre-op patient and care for patient when they return from IR
Compliance requirements: EKG Onboarding exam, Advanced Math, Med/Pharmacology exam, General ICU Competency exam, PACU Competency exam, General ICU skills, PACU skills, CORE exams
Patient Diagnoses: Candidate self schedule with manager final approval. Rotating shifts based upon unit need.
Return Staff Policy: Gone for 90 days to return as traveler
License Hits: University of Kentucky will not accept any licensure hits.
Must know at time of submission if they have previously worked at this facility. This must be noted on the profile in order to check their eligibility for rehire.
BLS, ACLS, PALS - RQI accepted
NIH - AHA, American Stroke Association, NIHSS, Apex Innovations or AACME
