Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ortho experience strongly preferred.

Types of Patients on Unit: Total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder, ankles), ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical surgeries, elective lumbar surgeries, elective thoracic surgeries, fractures, traumas, limb preservation, I&D of wounds, and any medical overflow patient (including legal holds – SIs).

Unit/Facility Details: 38 bed unit with all private rooms. Med Surg unit with Orthopedic and Neurosurgery specialty.

Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: None. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period. This may be full or partial shifts. Schedule varies based upon department needs. Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts. Eve + Day = 1 holiday.
