Additional Details:
Nicotine free campus. Must test negative.
No Self Scheduling.
Every other weekend is required. Holidays required, as needed.
May float to other units in ICU cluster (PICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, IMU).
Must have 3+ years in level 3 or level 4 NICU (clearly noted on submission packet).
Level 1 or 2 NICU experience will not be considered.
Patient population: Typical patient population (diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible, transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body cooling.
Will need availability for 2/3 holidays
Must pass fitness test (no facial hair unless for religious beliefs)
RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing for the facility.
