Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

RNs only: Cannot have a license that is on probation, suspended, or has board proceedings that are pending.

Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays. Winter holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Summer holidays are Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

Floating Required To MS. Travelers could float to 1-2 units in a 12 hr shift. Travelers float first.

Patient Population (Diagnoses): General Surgery, Wide Variety, GI, Urology, Plastics, Gynae, ENT, Vascular. Neuro / Trauma. No Open Heart, No Transplant. Rare Ortho – Would be overflow

Special skills required: med surg post surgical unit

Scrubs/color: Any color. No denim. Professional appearance.
