Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Step Down Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Required Skills/Experience: RN's must be able to read & interpret strips.

Required Credentials:

• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

• If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

• Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios 1:4-5 (If MedSurg acuity 1:6)

Shift & Scheduling:

• Work every other weekend and this includes Saturday and Sunday (Nights F/S/S)

• Holidays Every other holiday - work into perm staff holiday rotation

Floating Requirements: Could float to ICU as helping hands.
