Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience with 1 months within the past 12 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required skills and experience: Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac strip and rhythm interpretation, arterial lines, titration of drips, ventilator care (we have Respiratory Therapist 24/7), vascular lines, chest tubes or drains, post procedure site care – trans radial bands, femoral venous or arterial sheaths, CRRT, immediate post open heart experience, advanced cardiac support-Impella/IABP, Advanced hemodynamics including Swan, temporary pacemaker, post pulmonary artery thrombectomy (EKOS, Prenumbra, Inari)

Shift & schedule requirements: Every Other Weekend Rotation. Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

Floating requirements: Float within the critical care division or Intermediate Care.
