Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Hawaii license

ACLS (Required)

BLS (Required)

PALS (Preferred)

TNCC (Preferred)

ENPC (Preferred)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flex Rn Floats between various medical and surgical units.

Shift: 1845-0715 - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.

Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years’ experience.

Procedural Sedation preferred.

Floating to other units/departments.

Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit.

Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights

Laulima 1:6

Cardiovascular 1:4

Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.

Dress Code. Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer.
