Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
36 months of Home Health experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
BSN completion required
Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

VCU has a natural nail policy.

RTO should be included at the time of submission . No time off requests during the first week of the contract.

3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical surgical RN experience

Rotating 12 hour shifts - 7a-7p and 11a-11p

Block Schedules: No

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Daily Census: 10-12

Patient Diagnoses: Stable patients discharged from the hospital to Hospital at Home program where they will continue to receive medical care, be monitored 24/7 virtually by telehealth, and be seen twice a day by Hospital at Home RN. Med surg level patients.

Experience managing acute care or med surg adult and/or geriatric patient populations, preferred

Telephone triage experience preferred

Home health experience preferred

Facility will review all background hits, etc.

Return Staff Policy: 6 month gap to be considered as a traveler.

Government issued photo ID required. Photo Identification must be carried on person during hours of service to client.
