Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Nurse Only: PCU roles require both a PCU & ICU skills checklist with application.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Weekend Requirement: every other weekend.

Float Requirement: as needed in skillset.

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: All

Nurse Patient Ratio: 4:1 in general.

Scrub Color: no color preference.

Special Procedures: Moderate sedation, restraints.

CPI - must be a 8 hour course.

NIH Stroke Scale – renewed annually.
