All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.
ER profiles must include the size of the facility / # beds and the Trauma Level designation (if any)
Orientation for all Oregon facilities is in Portland, OR for RN, LPN and CNAs.
Required Skills/Experience: Cath Lab experience. Skills: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization, Medications, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Cert: ACLS, BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
Unit/Facility Details: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Parking Cost: No Fee.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Shift & Scheduling: Is on-call required: Yes weekdays and weekends.
Floating Requirements: Please note, it’s common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets. AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S. Facilities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent. Note for Seaside floating only – If your traveler is booked to a non-Seaside facility and asked to float to Seaside, they will receive + $5/hr incentive for hours worked at Seaside in addition to IRS Mileage reimbursement. If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel. Facility agrees to give as much notice as possible when floating to Seaside. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
