Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

6 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

ER/MedSurg - Required

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Shift: Day/Night Rotating

Every other weekend and holiday.

3 Call Shifts Required in a 13 week contract.

Required:

6 months MS exp in the past year

6 months ER exp in the past year

Critical Care Nursing, OB Nursing (preferred), ER

Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients.

May float to OB and Med Surg in course of shift

Patient Ratio: For MS - 1/3-4 - depending on census and acuity

Dress Code: Scrubs - Navy; no logos, white can be worn under uniform or white lab coat

Orientation: EPIC Computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med Surg Training
