Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: Monday-Friday

Weekend, Holiday and Call or standby call requirement?: On Call 24/7

What is call response time: 20 mins

Floating Requirements: Inpatient, Outpatient, & ER; Pulmonary Function Tests 2 days per week (3-4 patients); LTC

What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Inpatient, Outpatient, & ER; Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) 2 days per week (3-4 patients); LTC

Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): Only 1 RT for the entire hospital; Infants, peds, adults, & geriatric, and some outpatient PFTs, and if LTC need arises (has yet to happen)

RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow):

  • Vents: Bella Vista 1000, Trilogy 202
  • Humidifiers: Fisher Paykel
  • Infant Warmer: Panda Model 1502
  • PFT System: NDD Easy One Pro
  • Oximeters: Various Models

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Need PFT experience

Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist?: Yes, Resp intubates and manages all airways, ventilators; Stabilize & transport out

Preferred: RRT

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any Color Scrubs
