Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: 36/36 schedule. Every other weekend. No Call.

Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele and MS Exp required. IV therapy/Phlebotomy- Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs. Respiratory- Nasal Cannula. Gastrointestinal- Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management. Medications- Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Professional Knowledge and Skills- Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Work settings: Genitourinary/Renal. Telemetry- remote monitoring.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports. Respiratory- Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs). Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management. Renal failure.

Required Credentials: BSN required for international clinicians. Labs: Candidates must commit to getting their drug test completed within 12 - 14 calendar days prior to start. Unit/Facility Details: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. 30 beds.

Special Requests: Facility will conduct interview within 24 to 48 hours when offered. RTO must be included with submission.
