Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

MICU Required

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Every Other Weekend

On-call only needed for low censusing.

Float to Med/Surg or SICU as needed.

Stroke knowledge is a must. High acuity mix of patients so need a strong ICU background.

Common diagnoses: Simple and complex dysrhythmia interpretation and intervention, Hemodynamic stability monitoring and intervention, Airway maintenance/oxygenation/ventilatory support needs

Staff are expected to float out of the unit first as a patient observer. This could end up being a majority of your shifts.
