Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Experience: Greater than one (1) year of working experience in a similar unit with comparable patient acuity is preferred.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent within 1 year of hire

De-Escalation training required.

Shift Information: 1830-0700; holiday and weekend rotation.
