Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Information

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have vent experience in an acute care setting.
Ability to draw arterial blood gases.

Required Credentials:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
CRT or RRT from the NBRC.

Equipment Used on Unit: PB980 Ventilator. Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator.

Unit Details: Clinician to Patient Ratio: 5.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
