Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Preferred 24 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

Proficiency working within the OR.
Operating room; level of acuity is high.
Pediatric Craniofacial/Oral/Plastics, Cleft lip/Cleft palate repair, Work Settings, Pedi General OR, and Pediatric ENT, Tonsillectomy/adenoids.
Teaching Hospital Experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 years preferred peds exp.

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: Day passes are offered for off-site parking at discounted rate and provide shuttle service. Onsite parking for evenings is also at discounted rate. Night shift, parking is free.

Shift & Scheduling: Short call up to 3 times every six weeks. Up to 4 off shifts every six weeks. Up to 1 weekend shift and 1 weekend call every six weeks. Holidays shift and call coverage as needed by the unit. Call Required: Yes. Short call after shift, occcasional. Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 1 weekend per 6 weeks.
