Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
License
Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Additional Details:

Unit Details: Number of Beds 48, Daily Census 32

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: PPHN, bowel perf or NEC, BPD, Tracheostomy/G-button evals, pre op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and many more.

Floating Requirements: To our PICU, CCU, or med surg floors to care for patients with like skill sets.

Shift & Scheduling: Staff are required to work one extra shift every 3 weeks during periods of high census.

Types of Patients on Unit: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics

Equipment Used on Unit: Drager/servo/trilogy ventilators, Central lines including broviacs, neopiccs, power piccs, NIRS monitors

Previous Employment Requirements: They do not accept former perm employees as travel
