Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
12 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Is on-call req: Yes -Call Requirements: 2 primary weekday calls (2230-0600) in the 6 week call cycle. 2 secondary weekday calls (2230-0600). 2 primary weekend calls (one day 12hour at a time, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600), Saturday or Sunday or both. 2 secondary weekend calls (one day/12hour at a time, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600) Saturday or Sunday or both.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

  • Hard stop: must have ortho/joint do not screen if missing Orth Total joints knees and hips (Hana Table), ORIF's, General/GYN/Urology, DaVinci XI Robot for General/GYN/Urology/Thoracic, ENT/Plastics/Eyes Spine (Laminectomies, Discectomies, Fusions, ACDF, XLIF's, ALIF's, TLIF's),Neuro Burr Holes, Transphenoidals, Cranies), Thoracic and Vascular (EGD, Lob

RTO: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission: Must disclose license/BG hits up front at time of submission. No open license hits will be approved.

Return Staff Policy: can return after 3 months

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only
